Hi almoterp,

To meet your requirement, I would suggest you insert the videos in two adjacent slides first. Then you could set the After 00:00 in Transitions in the first slide.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Eli

Thanks but this did not work.

Hi almoterp,

Seems you don't set the option regarding playing a video automatically. The option is in Start dropdown list as shown in the figure below and select Automatically:

Please try again. For any concerns, feel free to let us know.

Eli

Hi almoterp,

So could they play one by one automatically by both set Automatically and After 00:00 in first slide in Slide Show mode on your side?

Eli

If I understand your question correctly, they can both play independently but only after a click, even though I have inserted both individually and set to Automatically play.

I even tried placing both videos on one slide and setting animation order to play one then after play the other.

Still does not work.

I can get both to play at the same time on the same slide!!! But not one at a time.

Here's a screen capture of my animation settings for both videos, A and B.

Hope this helps and you can help me resolve the issue.

I need to have video A play first in it's entirety and then dim and then video B play.

When vid B completes, the presentation will start over from vid A and continuously play as a loop until the presentation is manually stopped.

Hi,

You're on the right track.

Put both videos on the same slide

A very basic way is to use the PLAY animation

The first video should be set to play with previous

The second video should be set to play after previous

A variation of the above would be to set both videos to play with previous, but set the second video to start x amount of time after the first one (based on how long that video takes to complete)

You can get very fancy, if you want. You could use other animation effects for entrance and exit. You could use motion paths to move the videos around on the screen. But. you'll have to think about the order in which things play on the slide and know how "with previous" behaves compared with "after previous."

If you have an office 365 subscription, you could put the first video on the first slide, then apply Morph transition and then duplicate the slide. On the copy, delete the first video and insert the second video.

To enable looping of the show, go to the Slide Show tab and choose Set Up Show.

in Set Up show, in the Show Options choose to loop continuously until Escape key is pressed.
